MulkearLIFE reached a significant milestone over the last number of days with the tagging of some 50 Sea Lamprey on Friday last 21 May 2010.

The third in the series of four free illustrated talks kicks off tonight (Wed. 21st April) at 8pm in the Strand Hotel, Ennis Road, Limerick. Admission to the talk is free of charge. The third talk will be given by Mr. Ken O’Neill and is entitled “Fishing for Conservation – The Perspective of an Angler and Inspector”.
The last in the series of four free illustrated talks kicks off tonight (Wed. 28th April) at 8pm in the Strand Hotel, Ennis Road, Limerick. Admission to the talk is free of charge. The series of illustrated talks will conclude with a talk by well known birdman Mr. John Murphy entitled “Birds on the Water – Birdlife within the Mulkear Catchment”.
