Ruairí Ó Conchúir

Role: Project Manager

Background: Ruairí has worked in natural resource management, land reform, LandCare, rural development and community based eco-tourism projects for almost 20 years. Before joining MulkearLIFE he spent the last five years working with in the Burren with an EU LIFE Nature farming for conservation project. Prior to this he worked in rural development in West Clare for four years and in Southern Africa for 10 years with local and international NGOs and the South African government primarily in land reform and agriculture.

Glen Wightman

Role: Project Officer

Background: Glen is a biologist and has worked for the Central Fisheries Board (CFB) since 2006. There he worked on studying the impacts of OPW arterial drainage maintenance on aquatic life. In addition, we worked on Water Framework Directive sampling programme at the CFB. Prior to this he worked in California for 8 years studying the impacts of commercial forestry on trout and salmon.
